ROCKLAND, Maine — The Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce Auction has more than 180 auction items up for bid to date, with new items being added daily.

The “doors” of the online auction will open at 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at The auction will run until 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29. Proceeds with support Chamber activities.

Approximately 100 items will be earmarked for a live auction Friday, Nov. 2, at the Rockland Elks Lodge, 210 Rankin St. The event will include cash raffle prizes, raffle items, cash bar and a concession stand. Bruce and Becky Gamage will serve as auctioneer team.

Live auction items will be identified on the website and absentee bidding will be available.

Donations of auction items will be accepted through September. Sponsorship opportunities also are available, ranging from $100 to $500, including email sponsorships and auction website sponsorships.

Items up for bid include business services, artwork, unique experiences, travel, lodging packages, dining, recreational activities, gift baskets, train rides, boat trips, festival tickets, landscaping supplies and much, much more.
