BANGOR, Maine — Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Cynthia Dill spoke at the monthly Bangor Fusion luncheon during her trip to the city on Thursday.
Dill highlighted her legislative record in the state Senate and also noted several differences between herself and independent candidate Angus King.
She said she would support the creation of a new National Park in Maine and also voiced her opposition to the east-west highway in its currently proposed form.

Go get them Dill!!!
Who is “them” exactly?
Those who wish for people to actually strive to achieve?
Those who, with their charitable dollars and their time and effort, like Mr. Romney and others, step up to help others in need? Unlike Mr. Obama, whose brother lives in a Kenyan shack, with an aunt and uncle who depend upon public assistance in MA, Mr. Romney throws every resource into finding a lost child of one of his thousands of employees, and gives 1000% more of his yearly salary to the charities he suports than the ever-so-tight Obama and Biden, who claim that their credo is “I am my brother’s keeper.”
Those who respect the definition of freedom? Freedom to succeed? Freedom to fail? Freedom to make good decisions, and/or bad?
Cynthia is a “nanny-stater”. She seeks to wrap her arms around as many among the electorate who have fallen for the fallacy that it is the responsibility of others to house, feed, clothe, provide transportation, provide birth control, provide liquor/drugs/cigarettes etc via EBT cards, to every person within the borders of this once great country, whether or not they are here legally.
This election will determine whether it is the acheivers, not the deceivers, who prevail. Whether the makers, rather than the takers, who win.
Pretty simple choice.
Hey Dill, I thought of another difference between you and Angus King! You have no qualms with accepting Republican Super Pac sponsored ‘free advertising!’

“She said she would support the creation of a new National Park in Maine”. No kidding, I wonder why!
Dill-a-ling.
Another limosine liberal from out of state come here to be a big fish in a small pond.
Of the two issues she is refering to, neither are in her district.
Go figure…..
She’s only in this gig for the Dill dough.
Kind of a shallow story from the BDN on Dill. The BDN had deeper, more comprehensive coverage of Mikey Michauds flower garden last week.
I could be mean and nasty like the liberal posters and call Dill names and heckle, criticize and demean her like the idiots over on the LePage lawsuit story but then I would be stooping to the ignorance of the democrat party, and I am unable to do that. Dill is out of her element, she represents the far left of the democrat party and is unelectable. The Maine democrat party is officially supporting the election of Angus King, a democrat that left the party and registered as an independent.
Can’t get away from name calling can you. Granted, some of the comments against the futile LePage & Co. lawsuit were also of the same stripe, but the content did not reflect ignorance. More like stating the obvious.
The more votes Dill captures, the better off Summers will be in the general election.
