OGUNQUIT, Maine — A well-known actress was arrested for operating under the influence in York County on Wednesday morning, police said.
Sally Struthers was pulled over around 12:20 a.m. on Route 1, and arrested for OUI, according to Sgt. Matthew Buttrick of the Ogunquit Police Department.
Struthers was transported to the police station, processed and released on $160 bail. Buttrick declined to say how fast she was going, what prompted police to pull her over or her blood-alcohol content.
Struthers’ credits include roles on “Gilmore Girls” and “All in the Family.” She was in Ogunquit performing in the musical “9 to 5” at the town playhouse.
Struthers is due in court Dec. 13.

I am not saying she wasn’t, a lot of people with that kind of history tend to get the “We recognize who you are” garbage when they get in trouble with the law. I am glad she got treated like everyone else, pay a bail, even though it was small.

See once again you are trying to turn this thread around, almost like an assumption but with a question. First you think I have no idea who she is. I been around long enough to know who she is, but you had to give me a wiki page like I had no idea who Sally Struthers was, so to make sure I clicked the link and yup same Sally. Then I make a remark about the photograph and for some reason you decide to dwell on if I am just focusing on photographs when really I had not expressed any interest in focusing on the photograph hence my first sentence in my last remark that affirms I know who she is, what she did, etc.

If you’re under 40 she may not be well known but Most of us over 40 know her very well. All in the Family was the number one show for many years… back when Cable consisted of five or six channels. And the number one show was watched by ten times what it is now.
Most people under 40 know who she is too….you can’t classify Sally Struthers as some person that is only recognizable because of an age, let alone anyone else.
Not suggesting you shouldn’t know who she is but I doubt she holds the same place in your heart or is as significant a figure As she is to someone that watched All in the Family religiously as a preteen and teen.

It says in big bold letters that the OUI charge is alleged. However, I do encourage you to call the Ogunquit Police Department and demand they provide “you” with all and any facts they have concerning this arrest. Throw your weight around….show em’ who’s boss.
