KITTERY, Maine — A New Hampshire woman charged with drunken driving with her 3-year-old daughter in the car in Maine will lose her license for 90 days.
Sara Ball of Portsmouth, N.H., pleaded guilty Thursday to operating under the influence and will be fined $640 in addition to losing her license. WMTW-TV says Ball will begin alternative sentencing on Nov. 2, meaning she won’t have to spend time in jail.
Police say the tires on the passenger’s side of Ball’s car were damaged and the vehicle couldn’t be driven when an officer stopped to check on her in March in Kittery.

The justice system here in Maine sure is broken, I can only wonder how many times she has done this with that poor child in her car and how many more times she will do it after getting a small slap on the wrist like she got before she kills someone, herself or her child. Hitting something so hard she damaged both tires and the car couldn’t move?,whats it going to be next?
I’m just going to say it: Most Maine judges are scumbags and don’t give a crap about their communities.
We need to change how judges are seated and retained in this State.
Again Maine judges, nice way to say “We don’t really care about enforcing the laws”. How about a charge of endangering a child? Disgusting.
Women drivers, when will it end?
