PORTLAND, Maine — Police in Portland have arrested a Brooklyn, N.Y., man on charges of selling crack and possessing OxyContin after residents on Congress Street alerted law enforcement about possible drug dealing in their neighborhood.
Joseph McNair was found with crack cocaine hidden in his underwear, according to a news release from Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, and was charged with drug trafficking and possession of crack.
“Drug agents had been investigating McNair for the past two weeks after neighbors complained about a last number of people coming and going from the apartment,” he said.
Agents from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and officers from Portland Police Department’s special reaction team entered the 193 Congress St. where McNair was staying during a pre-dawn sting and seized about seven grams of crack cocaine from the apartment, McCausland stated. Some drugs were hidden in a bathroom ceiling and some in McNair’s underwear, McCausland said.
McNair is expected to make his first court appearance in Portland on Wednesday.

Gives a real meaning to “crack” !!
This guy had more than one crack in his underwear.
Crack in his crack?
Silly crackheads….doesn’t he realize that drugs don’t effect you when you put it down your shorts? Butt now, putting crack in crack … that might work!
At least it wasn’t crank.
He was just crushing it like a walnut .
thats just cracks me up :)
Put that in your pipe and smoke it. Eww!
Well where else would you store your crack????
I bet his crack selling days are over after his customers find out where stores his crack.
If your kids won’t listen to the popular reasons for not doing drugs, share this story with them. Yuck!
