AUGUSTA, Maine — Police are looking for a middle-aged man wearing large wire-rim glasses and carrying a backpack who was recently caught on video surveillance cameras during a break-in.
Maine State Police are asking the public for help in identifying the man and have released the photo in the hope that someone will recognize him, Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said in a statement Tuesday.
“The photo was taken in late August in the Belgrade, Rome, Smithfield area — a region that has been hit by a number of burglaries in recent months,” he said. “Troopers are not identifying the town where the most recent burglary took place.”
Those with information about the man’s identity are asked to call state police in Augusta at 624-7076, and ask for Trooper John Lacoste. (Nok-Noi Ricker, BDN)

WOW!!
I wish more people had the tools to get a good pic like this one!
Then, if we chopped his arm off after we catch him, every one would see he is a thief.
That would be the way to end this mindset of just taking whatever you want instead of WORKING hard and being proud!!
Just my opinion, dont let me catcha round hera!
He fell asleep while using the rest room during regular business hours and had to make his way out for his own safety…ya that’s it.
I think he’s a beer drinker. But he better be in AZ by now.
