FARMINGTON, Maine — Two Farmington residents were arrested Friday night for robbing the Farmington Walmart pharmacy, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and Farmington police.
Ashley Lake, 27, and Timothy Campbell, 33, were both arrested shortly after the alleged robbery when a Franklin County Sheriff’s Department police canine tracked them through some woods to a nearby motel. According to a press release, a woman presented a note to a pharmacist at the Walmart at about 6:30 p.m. demanding oxycodone and threatening the use of a gun, though no weapon was displayed and no weapon was later found in the suspects’ possession.
After drugs were turned over to the woman, she and another suspect were seen running across the parking lot into a section of woods. After being tracked to the motel, Lake and Campbell were arrested and taken to Franklin County Jail, where they remained on Saturday. Most of the stolen drugs were recovered from the motel room.
Lake was charged with Class B robbery and Class C possession of a schedule W drug. She is being held on $10,000 cash bail.
Campbell was charged with Class B robbery, Class C possession of a schedule W drug and Class E violation of conditions of release. He is being held without bail, according to a jail intake officer.
Both are scheduled to appear in Franklin County District Court on October 26.

Robbing a Pharmacy should carry a separate and unique sentence-much like selling drugs within 1000 feet of a school. Make it ugly enough and even these idiots will stop.
Farmington continues to go down the tubes….
Did they open a methadone clinic in Farmington or something?
