MACHIAS – Dorothy I. Brown, 89, passed away Sept. 24, 2012, in Machias. Dot was born July 21, 1923, in Lubec, to Lloyd and Agnes (Bradley) Dinsmore.
She attended Lubec schools and upon her marriage to Myron Brown she moved to Dennysville, where they built their home and resided for 50 years.
Dot was predeceased by her husband, Myron Brown; two brothers, Johnny and Harold Dinsmore; and her sister, Mary Juliano. She is survived by her sister, Bertha Mattheson; several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Holy Name Catholic Church, 11 Free St., Machias. Burial will be afterward at Dennysville Cemetery, Dennysville. Arrangements by Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Machias.
