CAMDEN – William “Bill” Reid Wurzburg, 94, previously of New London, N.H., and Needham, Mass., passed away Sept. 24, 2012, at Quarry Hill Gardens Unit, after a brief illness. He was born May 23, 1918, in Dorchester, Mass.
He was a World War II veteran, who served in the Army as an Intelligence Specialist. He was a manufacturer’s representative in the industrial piping industry for 45 years.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Florence; a son, William Reid Wurzburg Jr. and his wife, Maureen Healy-Wurzburg, of Uxbridge, Mass.; and a daughter, Janice R. Corson and her husband, Stephen J. Corson, of Rockport. He leaves five grandchildren, Katey Healy-Wurzburg, Alexis Healy-Wurzburg, Suzanne Healy-Wurzburg, Holly E. Corson and Nicholas R. Corson. He was predeceased by a son, Eric R. Wurzburg, in 1999.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. He will be interred at Main Street Cemetery, New London, N.H.
