ELLSWORTH and AUGUSTA – Charles A. Bonsey, 59, died Sept. 23, 2012, at Maine Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta. He was born Aug. 24, 1953, in Kittery, the son of Hollis A. and Regina (Carter) Bonsey Jr.
Charles served in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 to 1972 during the Vietnam era. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by a son, Hollis A. Bonsey III and wife, Stephanie, of Branson, Mo.; a daughter, Tina M. Rumrell and husband, Dylan, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren, Peyton, Aiden and Elijah; two sisters, Glyneta B. Thomson and husband, Gary Mosley, of Surry and Jeannine H. Allen and husband, Kenneth, of El Cajon, Calif.; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends are invited to visit 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, where a funeral service will begin 11 a.m. Interment will be at Bay View Cemetery, Surry. Condolences may be expressed at www.jordanfernald.com.
