PALMYRA – Don Kaherl, 30, died unexpectedly Sept. 26, 2012. He was born Dec. 15, 1981, in Waterville, a son of Gerald and Donna (Hawthorne) Kaherl.
He loved the outdoors, especially four-wheeling with his son, Tyler.
In addition to his parents of Palmyra, he is survived by his grandmother, Shirley Micklon of Raymond; a son, Tyler Swan and Tyler’s mother, Stephanie Swan, both of Corinna; a sister, Erica and her husband, Shawn DeVault, of Monmouth; his Uncle Don and Aunt Elaine Hawthorne of Gray; two cousins, Brad Hawthorne and wife, Cressi Hawthorne, and Shawn Hawthorne; and his best friend, Shane Overlock.
Graveside committal services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Riverside Cemetery, Newport, with Pastor Al Worden officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Those who wish may leave written condolences at www.CrosbyNeal.com.
