ROCKLAND, Maine — A motor vehicle reported stolen Tuesday was found Wednesday near where it had last been parked.
Rockland police had sought the public’s help recovering the motor vehicle that had been stolen from a city residence.
The 1997 green Jeep Cherokee was reported stolen shortly after noon Tuesday from a parking lot in the rear of 100 Union St. The vehicle was last seen between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday, according to Rockland police.
The Jeep was found at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of the Rockland Public Library. This is about one block away from the Union Street residence.
There was no damage to the vehicle.



Wonder if they looked in the “bog” yet……first place I would look
Maybe somone thought it was one of the rent a car club cars and used it? Although, I think they use newer ones, not sure. Hopefully they changed the oil and got the front end aligned….

This is becoming an everyday occurrence.
Makes you wonder if the owner just walked home from the library forgetting that he/she had driven there.
They realized it was a dodge product and knew they made a mistake, they didnt want break down some where..
