SEDGWICK – Roderick Madison Gray, 81, died unexpectedly Oct. 1, 2012, at his residence. He was born April 27, 1931, a son of Gorham and Helen Gray.
Rod graduated from Brooksville High School. He worked for St. Regis, Champion and International Paper, Bucksport, for many years. He was married to Ivadel (Chatto) for 47 years. Rod was a member of Anah Shrine, Governor Brooks Lodge of Brooksville, Ira Berry Lodge of Blue Hill, and Scottish Rite Bodies of Portland and Rockland.
He is survived by his wife, Ivadel; daughters, Kris Gray, and Lynn Ginn and husband, Steve, all of Sedgwick; brother, Harold Gray and wife, Joan, of Bowie, Md.; sister, Bernice Schonbeck of Brooksville; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Gordon Gray; and sister, Phyllis Glynn.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Camp Stream Cemetery, Graytown Road, Sedgwick, with Pastors Stephen and Sheila Heneise officiating.
