MILLINOCKET – Jeri Lynn (Gordon) Pelletier, 56, went to be with the Lord Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, after bravely battling cancer for many years. Her family and friends were at her bedside when she passed away at Millinocket Regional Hospital. Jeri was born Dec. 23, 1955, in Bangor, to Lewis Emery and Muriel Helen (Vanidestine) Gordon.
She married and moved to Millinocket, where she earned her diploma from Stearns High School in 1974. Jeri worked for Millinocket IGA for many years and most recently at Dead River as a customer service representative. She enjoyed working with the public and was well known by many residents in town. She loved to talk with people and was always there to help those in need. She was active in her faith while attending St. Martin of Tours Church and I Care Ministries. She enjoyed the occasional scratch ticket and evenings out with the girls at bingo. She was an avid bowler, having participated on a variety of league teams.
Jeri was predeceased by her parents; and her husband of 37 years, Terry C. Pelletier. She is survived by her beloved dog, Jake; her son, Jeffrey Gordon and his wife, Ryann, and their son, Tyson; her daughter, Laurie Chamberlain and her husband, Greg, and their sons, Wade and Ben; her brother, Richard Gordon and his wife, Janette; her sisters, Judy Brosmer and Brenda Davis; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and her very close friends, Mary Ellen Haugen and Louise Morey.
Friends may visit with the family 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery.
