BANGOR – Dorothy ‘Dot’ Smith, 65, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012. She was born March 4, 1947, in Etna, to Ernest and Ruth (Argent) Holland.
Dorothy was a compassionate person with a great sense of humor that worked in the nursing field for many years. She enjoyed being with her friends and family, traveling, cooking sweet treats, and making others smile.
She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Tracy Smith of Bangor, Brian Smith and partner, Katie Ginn, of Carmel; two grandsons, Owen and Kaden of Carmel; brothers Linwood Evans, Chester Holland, Frederick and wife, Jean Holland; sisters, Beatrice Orcutt, Tina and husband, Dean Harmon; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Pat Evans.
Private service will be held at the convenience of family.
