SANGERVILLE – SANGERVILLE – Estella Mae (Albee) Thompson passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was born March 17, 1929, at Whitneyville, to Clinton H. and Marion E. (Ackley) Albee.
She is survived by her children, Clairanne Preble and husband, Larry, of Pittston, Sally Herger and Jerry, of Jonesboro, Alice Richards and David, of Monmouth, Thornton Thompson of Bar Harbor, Thelma Scholtes and Daniel, of Sangerville, Marion Hallowell and James, of Alton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers whom she loved deeply, Joseph, Paul, Clinton, Donald and Wayne Albee. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, William, George, Richard and Carl Albee; sister, Leonice Parsons; and her precious sons, Gregory and Robert.
‘Stella’ devoted herself to her family and career, working as a CNA in nursing homes and home healthcare. One of her passions was caring for Alzheimer patients. She will be thought of often and forever missed by family, friends and people whose lives she touched with her angelic spirit, compassion and unconditional love.
