BELFAST, Maine — A local woman has been issued summonses for theft and forgery after allegedly stealing an ex-boyfriend’s checkbook and cashing a total of $460 in forged checks around the area.
Alicia Santamore, 29, of Belfast was charged Wednesday for the reported offenses, which took place on Sept. 24, according to the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office police report.
