PALERMO, Maine — Police are looking for a woman in connection with a reported domestic violence assault that left a man with visible bite marks on his arm.
Chief Deputy Jeff Trafton of the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that police have probable cause to arrest Christina Love, 29, whose last known address is on Plummer Road in Palermo.
He said that on Tuesday, a man called in to report a domestic violence assault by Love, who allegedly was biting him while he was speaking to emergency dispatchers.
By the time officers arrived, she was gone, but they did take pictures of the wounds she is accused of inflicting upon him, Trafton said.

Bitten by “Love”….you have to be kidding~
it was just a “love bite”
It’s always a cause for concern when a girls teeth get in the way. Open wider!
Gilligan, you’re spending too much time with Ginger and MaryAnn. You naughty boy.
I would say that she is an animal but I think I would be insulting the animals. Unless she had to defend herself from serious harm, I don’t see any good reason to bite someone. And he is more likely to get an infection from a human bite than a dog bite in many instances.
Taste like chicken, and I LOVE chicken!
Maybe she’s a Mike Tyson fan!
vampire or zombie?
[Dripping sarcasm alert!!!]
Another hard-hitting story from the BDN’s Waldo County bureau. Imagine that, some bad woman bit her boyfriend. Stop the presses.
It’s peculiar how when bureau chief Tom Groening doesn’t approve of something we simply don’t hear a peep about it. I’m thinking about citizen action to block construction in Searsport of what would possibly be the largest cryogenic tank of liquefied propane in the world. Now you’d think that might rate a couple of lines.
The eyes of the entire region and beyond are on Searsport over this but you’d never know it if the BDN were your only news source. The local Republican Journal, by contrast, this week had three well written stories associated with this insane project and the growing citizen momentum to ensure it never happens. The Free Press, although merely a shopper, runs rings around the BDN in providing coverage.
Come on Tom. Surely your editors in Bangor will eventually find out what’s been going on and want to know why you were asleep at the keyboard.
don’t waste your time, she will claim she is the victim and the guy is toast.
