BANGOR – Connie J. Stanley, 60, passed away Oct. 24, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 20, 1952, in Prentiss, daughter of Fred H. and Dorothy L. (Carll) Stanley.
Connie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Jr.
She is survived by her children, Debbie of Bangor, Joey and wife, Jessie, of Enfield, and Fred of Bangor; grandchildren, Jordana, Jennah, Joey Jr., Fred Jr. and Jacob; special “daughter,” Cathy Muncey and husband, Sam Muncey; special niece, Lisa White and husband, Paul; siblings, Fred Stanley and wife, Marion, Mildred Noble and husband, Tom, Mary Mulligan and husband, Terry, Evelyn Toby, Sharon Haney and husband, James, and Natalie Becotte and husband, Roland; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Rev. Steve Waite will officiate at a memorial service 2 p.m. Sunday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where friends may call noon until the time of service. Interment will be at Butterfield Cemetery, Prentiss. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the funeral home for expenses or to CancerCare of Maine.
