CHARLESTON, S.C. – Ivar “Ivy” A. Wahler, passed away Sept. 6, 2012, at her home after a long illness. She was born Sept. 14, 1935, in Ellsworth, daughter of the late Bertha and Ivar (Libbey) Hill.
Ivar is survived by two daughters, Cherie White of Charleston, S.C., and Elli Heath of North Brookfield, Mass.; two sons, Richard Carter of Clifton and Wesley Carter Jr. of Bangor; one sister, Lillian Lagassee of Haverhill, Mass.; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Teresia Bragg. Ivy will be greatly missed.
