WATERVILLE, Maine — A confrontation between a boyfriend and girlfriend that prompted the man to punch a hole in the wall ended with the man under arrest, police said.
Jeremiah Laplante, 30, of China was taken into custody just after 3 a.m. Wednesday and charged with domestic violence criminal mischief, Waterville Deputy Chief Charles Rumsey said.
Laplante was visiting his girlfriend at a Central Avenue residence when an argument between the pair escalated, Rumsey said.
That’s when Laplante became more upset and took out his anger on a wall in one of the rooms in the house, Rumsey said. He was promptly arrested.
Laplante was booked into the Waterville police station and later released on bail.

Score: Wall 1, Laplante 0.
Maybe he was mad at the wall because no matter how much he practiced playing tennis, the wall was always better. (apologies to Mitch Hedberg)
Typically what happens in Central Maine, next month the coppers will be called and the girlfriend will be arrested for being the aggressor and the boyfriend the victim. Then both will have POs on each other.
It is always funny when some hot head takes out their aggression by punching a hole in a wall. Unless they hit a stud, then it is hilarious.
One could say that relationship has hit the wall…
Got arrested for punching the wall??
So the cops had already arrested all the people with overdue
library books and needed one more arrest to fill the quota ??
To protect and to serve.
