LINCOLN – Clair R. Preble, 80, who was born Jan. 25, 1932, went to be with the Lord Oct. 30, 2012. He was born and raised in Willimantic, son of Irving and Evangeline (Cook) Preble.
He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Lyle; daughter, April; and son, Randy. Surviving is a brother, Ansel Preble Sr. and wife, Evelyn, of Willimantic; children, Nathan Preble and wife, Kathy, of Sangerville, Rhonda Preble of Bangor, Alex Preble of Guilford, David Preble and wife, Virginia, of Charleston and Paul Preble and wife, Melissa, of Dover-Foxcroft; several nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for family and friends will be 1 p.m. Nov. 10 at Riverside Cemetery, Willimantic. www.directcremationofmaine.com
