ROCKLAND, Maine — A 22-year-old Washington woman will spend six months in jail after admitting to kicking two police officers.
Becky L. Condon pleaded guilty Thursday in Knox County Superior Court to two counts of felony assault, one count of felony theft, refusing to submit to arrest, failure to give a correct name, violating a condition of release, failure to report to jail and disorderly conduct.
The assaults occurred July 9 in Rockport when police stopped the vehicle she was a passenger in for speeding, according to the prosecution’s version of events to which she pleaded guilty.
Condon gave the first officer on the scene — Maine State Police Trooper Jeremiah Wesbrock — a false name. The next officer to arrive, Knox County Deputy John Hansen recognized her, and when the officers attempted to arrest her for violating her conditions of release she kicked Wesbrock twice and Hansen once.
The assaults were felonies because of two prior assault convictions — one for assault in June and one for domestic violence assault in April — and a theft conviction that involved her driving off without paying for gasoline at the Country Corners store in Whitefield. The theft was a felony because she had two prior theft convictions.
Condon has been held in jail and could receive credit for time served since her most recent arrest.

With a last name like Condon, she’s probably been teased her whole life! She’s the kind of scumbag who will outlive most of us.
