VAN BUREN – Corinne M. Thivierge, 92, died unexpectedly Nov. 9, 2012, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born April 3, 1920, in Van Buren, the daughter of Peter and Marie (Michaud) Violette.
She was a 1939 graduate of Sacred Heart High School and had done office and factory work in Connecticut for a number of years.
Corinne is survived by her son, Gary Thivierge and his wife, Bernadette, of Van Buren; two grandsons and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon Thivierge, in 1990.
Relatives and friends may call 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Interment will be afterward at the parish cemetery.
