AUGUSTA, Maine — The search for a missing hunter that began Wednesday afternoon in Washington County’s Township 42 ended Thursday morning with the discovery of his body.

Doug Rafferty, a spokesman for the Maine Warden Service, said Thursday afternoon that the hunter, who has not yet been identified, died of natural causes due to a “medical issue.”

  1. God bless. Natural cause. Died doing something he loved to do. We should all be so fortunate when our time comes.
