AUGUSTA, Maine — The search for a missing hunter that began Wednesday afternoon in Washington County’s Township 42 ended Thursday morning with the discovery of his body.
Doug Rafferty, a spokesman for the Maine Warden Service, said Thursday afternoon that the hunter, who has not yet been identified, died of natural causes due to a “medical issue.”
Township 42 is in northwestern Washington County. It abuts Hancock County’s Township 41.
