BANGOR AND FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. – James Kaplan, 73, former Varig pilot and airline consultant for Fine Air, died Nov. 24, 2012. Jimmy was known for his automobile racing.
He was the son of the late Sally Saklad Tabenken and Daniel Kaplan, and is survived by a sister, Beth Metzger.
