OLD TOWN – Donna Lee (Sullivan) Coulombe, 73, passed away peacefully at 12:12 p.m. Dec. 12, 2012, surrounded by her family at home, after a brief illness. She was born July 25, 1939, in Orono, to parents Everest “Bingo” and Marion “Ma” (Bowers) Sullivan.
She was a graduate of Orono High School, class of 1957. She recently retired from The Sharing Place, Orono, after seven years of employment. Donna was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who cherished time spent with her family.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Terri and husband, Jose doAmaral, of Old Town; her son, Reginald Jr. and his wife, Julie, and their two children, Drew and Alivia, of Bradley; her four sisters, Marlene Doucette of Orono, Marion “Mickey” Bell and her husband, Don, of Missouri, her twin Betty Lou St. John and Wanda Cunningham, both of Orono; two brothers, George Sullivan of Maryland and James Sullivan and his wife, Carol, of Old Town; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her dear granddaughter, Gabriella Christiana doAmaral; and significant other, Robert Brennan. The family expresses deep appreciation for the support and service provided by Hospice of Eastern Maine.
At Donna’s request, services will be private. Arrangements by Memorial Alternatives, 205 Center St., Bangor.
