BUXTON – Born in Jackson Oct. 22, 1916 to Fred Johnson and Susie Higgins Johnson. Paul passed peacefully in his home.
Graduated UMO in 1941, he taught Agriculture in Unity where he met his wife Ruth Worcester. They were married in 1944 while he was on leave from the 12th Armored Division.
After WWII he taught Agi. at Samuel D. Hanson H.S. in Buxton for servral years. After which he farmed until he retired.
Paul is survived by his wife of 68 years Ruth Johnson, his sister Madeline Brown, His three children
Margaret Stubbs, Nancy Page, Ken Johnson, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchilderen.
A celebration of his life and bonfire will be held Friday Dec. 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the farm where they lived for 61 years.
