GLENBURN – Robert “Bob” E. Nordgren, 80, died Dec. 14, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Feb. 25, 1932, in Boston, the son of John and Ellen (Fredrickson) Nordgren.
Bob served in the U.S. Navy Seabees for eight years. He was a 50-year member of Prospect Lodge A.F. & A.M., Westwood, Mass. He worked 35 years for United Airlines at Logan Airport, Boston. He was very proud of being a firefighter for Hampton (N.H.) Fire Department and enjoyed leathercraft. Bob had a great love for animals, especially his dogs, Max, Oscar and Buddy, and his cat, Rufus.
He is survived by very special friends, Derrick Randall and his wife, Stachia, and their children, Austin and Zachary, all of Bradford. Bob was predeceased by his wife, Marion Nordgren.
