CORINTH, Maine — Firefighters from town spent Friday night fighting a blaze on Hob Road, but few details were available shortly after the fire was reported, said a dispatcher from Penobscot County Communications Center.
The fire was reported at about 8 p.m. at a residence on Hob Road, which is off Main Road just before West Corinth Road.
“Corinth [fire department] is there,” the county dispatcher said.
Whether anybody was home during the fire, who reported the flames, and if anyone was injured are questions she could not answer. A message left for the fire chief was not immediately returned.
