DOVER-FOXCROFT and GREENVILLE – Erle B. Palmer Jr., 76, died Dec. 27, 2012, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born March 9, 1936, in Little Squaw Mountain Township, the son of Erle and Ruth (Clark) Palmer.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, he had worked as an airport reservations agent for many years. He was a past member of the American Legion and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by a son, Michael Palmer and his wife, Tina, of Eden Prairie, Minn.; a daughter, Lynn Waska and her husband, Jeff, of Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; two sisters, Sandra Jacques and her husband, Michael, of Greenville and Darlene Chambley of Cape Coral, Fla.; two grandchildren, Hailee and Joseph Waska of Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Peoples’ United Methodist Church, Greenville Junction, with Pastor Marilyn Rohdin officiating.
