FRANKFORT – Franklin Maxwell Wright, 71, died Dec. 31, 2012, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. Franklin was born Dec. 30, 1941, in Portland.
Franklin is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Alice (Johnson) Wright of Frankfort; a daughter, Deborah L. Williams and her daughter, Gizelle Williams, both of Frankfort; son, Franklin “Buck” Wright and his wife, Amy, and their daughters, Raven Wright and Cassie Wright, all of Winterport; two brothers, Clarence Wright and wife, Gloria, and Gene Wright and wife, Paulette, all of Winterport; two sisters, Velma L. Elliot of Connecticut and Margaret Whittlesey of Winterport; a sister-in-law, Shirley Johnson of Bangor; a special niece, Karen Smith of Brewer; a special friend, Brenda Dehate of Winterport; as well as several nieces throughout Maine and Connecticut.
Family and friends are invited to visit 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. Interment will be private at a later date. Private messages of condolence and memories may be shared through www.hampdengilpatrick.com.
