DEXTER – Edith Stiffler, 92, died Jan. 8, 2013, at a Dexter health care facility. She was born Aug. 10, 1920, in Wayland, Mass., a daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Cuthbert) Forbes.
Edith was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church, Southboro, Mass., and past worthy matron of Order of The Eastern Star, Hopkinton, Mass. She retired as a dental assistant to Dr. Hallisey, moving to Maine in 2006.
She is survived by a son, Paul Stiffler of St. Albans; a daughter, Rebecca and husband, Larry Greaves, of Ripley; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Private burial will be at Rural Cemetery, Southboro, Mass.
