NEW LIMERICK – Stanley “John” Ritchie, 47, died Jan. 20, 2013, in Houlton. He was born Aug. 17, 1965, in San Bernardino, Calif., the son of Harold and Elizabeth (Tarr) Ritchie.
In addition to his mother, Elizabeth Austin of Crawford, he is survived by his wife, Doreen Stewart Ritchie of New Limerick; a son, Cody Ritchie of Oakfield; siblings, Harold “Chip” Ritchie Jr. of Milford, Conn., Philip Ritchie of Smyrna Mills, Janet Leavitt and Durene Ritchie, both of Houlton; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Harold; and a son, Tyler.
Friends may call noon-2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. with the Rev. Rick Murray officiating with a luncheon immediately afterward.
