CORINTH and SEABROOK, N.H. – Elden L. Tozier, 69, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at his home. He was born March 23, 1943, in Bangor, son of the late Walter C. and Marguerite (Graves) Tozier Jr.
Elden graduated from East Corinth Academy with the class of 1961. He worked as a long haul truck driver for many years. He made his home in Seabrook, N.H., the past 20 years coming from Florida. Elden enjoyed NASCAR, gambling and traveling. He fulfilled his wish to travel to all 50 states.
He leaves his daughter, Angel Sawyer and husband, Tom, of Corinth; his son, Randy Tozier and wife, Dixie, of Atkinson; two brothers, Paul Tozier and wife, Ruth, of Bangor and Terry Tozier and wife, Vicki, of Ocala, Fla.; three sisters, Diana Skolfield and husband, Barry, Donna Trask and husband, Keith, and Leatha Wheeler and husband, Marvin, all of Corinth; two grandchildren, Matthew Sawyer and Emily Monahan; his companion, Barbara Randall; several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Rose (Randall) Tozier.
A memorial service will be held in the spring.
