BREWER – Dorothy F. Anderson, 85, died Jan. 27, 2013, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born July 14, 1927, in Exeter, N.H., a daughter of Sidney and Evyone (LaBele) Toland.
Dorothy was a graduate of Dover High School, Dover, N.H. She met Frederick in 1953 and they married May 17, 1956. She was always very helpful to her husband with his business. Dorothy loved to knit. She loved her granddaughters and cherished their time together.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Frederick; sons, Larry Dickson and wife, Peggy, of Amherst, and Randolph Anderson and partner, Tina Michuaid, of Hobe Sound, Fla.; granddaughters, Heather and Holly Anderson, both of Nashua, N.H., and Samantha Grindle of Bucksport; and sister, Rita DeMers. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Bill and Raymond Toland; and sisters, Gertrude LeVesque and Barbara Fortier.
