LONDONDERRY, N.H. – Roger L. Stevens, 84, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, Mass. He was born April 10, 1928, in Exeter, a son of the late Paul and Erma (Buswell) Stevens.
He had been a resident of Londonderry, N.H., for the past 28 years, formerly living in Exeter, N.H. Mr. Stevens served with the U.S. Air Force for 25 years, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. He was also employed as an electrical engineer for Hycor, Woburn, Mass., retiring in 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Dunn) Stevens of Londonderry, N.H.; six children, Patricia Maccomber of Florida, Paul Stevens and wife, Julie, of Sanford, Paula Smart and husband, Kevin, of Newmarket, N.H., Peter Stevens and wife, Lisa, of Simpsonville, S.C., Cynthia Walsh-Angelis of Andover, Mass., and Shannon Reagan and husband, Tony, of Peterborough, N.H.; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Buck and husband, Terry, of Corinna and Ertelle Ingram of Florida; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Neil B. Stevens and Lloyd A. Stevens.
A private graveside service was held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry, N.H. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, N.H. Affiliate, P.O.
