BANGOR, Maine — The city called off a town hall meeting scheduled for Wednesday night at the Bangor Civic Center because of the impending storm.
The city organized a trio of meetings to update residents on Bangor’s budget situation for 2014-15, which could result in more than 100 layoffs, cuts to programs and services, or tax increases, according to city officials.
The first meeting has been pushed back to 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the civic center. The second is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 20.
Officials have not said whether a third meeting will be scheduled.
