WESTBROOK, Maine — A Gray man has been charged with a crime after exposing himself in a Westbrook library on Thursday, police said.

Gregory Tarling, 45, is accused of indecent conduct, a Class E misdemeanor, Westbrook police Capt. Tom Roth said.

Officers were sent to the Walker Memorial Library when it was reported a man who turned out to be Tarling was engaging in indecent activity, Roth said.

Tarling was summoned for indecent conduct but not arrested, Roth said. He also was issued a criminal trespass warning barring him from returning to the library.
