BANGOR – Robert A. Pomroy Sr., 82, died March 3, 2013, in Hudson, Fla. He was born June 11, 1930, in Bangor, son of Charles D. I. and Nellie J. (Bulger) Pomroy.
Robert served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a lineman for New England Telephone Co. for many years. He enjoyed is retirement years and stayed busy.
Surviving are his wife, Serena Pomroy of Hudson, Fla.; son, Robert Pomroy Jr. and wife, Tracey, of Glenburn; granddaughter, Taylor Pomroy of Glenburn; several stepchildren and stepgrandchildren in Florida. He was predeceased by his first wife, Audrey Pomroy, in 2004.
Family and friends may visit 2-4 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. Private burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor.
