WALLINGFORD, CONN. – Theresa L. McKinnon Klimczak, 82, of Yalesville, died peacefully March 2, 2013, at her home, with her loving husband of 40 years, Benjamin F. Klimczak and her family by her side. She was born Feb. 18, 1931, in Island Falls, a daughter of the late James P. and Lillian Thorne McKinnon.
In addition to her husband, Ben, she is survived by her sisters, Margaret Harding of Plymouth, Patricia Emery of Cheshire, Conn., and Mary Stedman of Belchertown, Mass.; brothers, James McKinnon of Bangor and David McKinnon of Pasadena, Md.; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Geneva Cartwright and Philip McKinnon.
Her family will receive relatives and friends 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March, 6, at Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Extension, Wallingford, Conn., where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday. The funeral cortege will proceed from the funeral home to Our Lady of Fatima Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Interment will be at In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford, Conn.
