NEWCASTLE, Maine — Thirteen antique stone wheels valued at approximately $4,200 were stolen Saturday morning from Foster’s Antiques, Maj. Ken Mason of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday morning.

Reserve Deputy Richard Woodward responded to the report, a day after another theft — this time of metal parts and an engine block at Newcastle Chrysler in Newcastle.

Mason said scrap metal parts and a 500-pound engine block — with a total value of $500 — were taken.

No further information was available Tuesday.
