BREWER and BANGOR – Kavin D. Holyoke, 51, passed away unexpectedly March 22, 2013. He was born Nov. 13, 1961, at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor, to Wayne and Donna (Goodwin) Holyoke.
Kavin graduated from Bangor High School in 1980, the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and an associate degree in finance and accounting at Eastern Maine Community College. He was employed at Eastern Fine Paper Co. for 16 years as a lab technician and employed by LL Bean as a customer service representative for the last eight years. Kavin was a fan of music and sports – especially the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed DJing with Savage Sound. He married the love of his life, Michele S. Dupuis, in 2006. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Michele; loving dog, Ziggy; father, Wayne Holyoke; brothers, Bruce and Charlene, and Brian and Veronica; sister, Karen and Irv Marsters; niece, Crystal Laplante; nephew, Craig Laplante; and several extended family members. He was predeceased by mother, Donna Holyoke; and grandmother, Frances Burns.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 25, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, at First Baptist Church, 56 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Stephanie Salinas, pastor, officiating. A reception will be held immediately afterward at the church. Interment will be later in the spring at Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth.
