ROCKPORT, Maine — Nomination papers are available for candidates who want to serve on municipal boards.
Incumbent Selectboard member Tracy Lee Murphy has taken out nomination papers for re-election to a single three-year term up for a vote on June 11. Murphy is the only candidate to take out papers since they became available March 18.
The deadline for filing is Friday, March 26.
One three-year seat, currently held by Gretchen Richards, is available on the School Administrative District 28/Five-Town Community School District board.
Jan Rosenbaum and Sharon Stone have taken out papers for re-election to the town budget committee. A third three-year seat on the budget committee is also up for a vote. The seat had been held by Kay Warren, who died earlier this year.
There are also two seats on the library committee up for a vote. The seats are held by Janice Baldwin and Cate Monroe.
