FORT KENT – Gloria Ouellette Dube, 86, died peacefully March 24, 2013, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Dec. 5, 1926, in St. Francis, daughter of Maxime and Yvonne (Michaud) Jandreau.
Gloria was a member of Hospital Guild and Senior Citizens Club, both of Fort Kent. She also belonged to Business and Professional Women’s Club. Gloria loved spending time in the Allagash and Eagle Lake, and enjoyed playing cards, especially Charlie and Cribbage.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Ouellette, in 1993. Gloria remarried in 1996 to Leonard Dube, who now lives in Fort Kent. She is also survived by two sons, Michael and wife, Jeanne-Ann Ouellette, of Levant, and Paul and wife, Monique Ouellette, of Bangor; grandchildren, Jared and wife, Suko, and their son, Takashi, Jason and wife, Megan; one sister, Diane Michaud of Portage; and two brothers, Wally Jandreau of Fort Kent and Clayton Jandreau of St. Francois, New Brunswick.
Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Wallagrass. Spring burial will be held May 6 at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OHI, 25 Freedom Parkway, Hermon, ME 04401.
