WESTFIELD – Roy H. Henderson, 82, died Sunday afternoon, March 24, 2013, at The Aroostook Health Center, Mars Hill. He was born Nov. 15, 1930, in Presque Isle, the son of Roy and Elva (Johnson) Henderson.
He served in the U.S. Army, 1952-1954. Roy worked as a farm laborer for Camille Voisine, Francis Tweedie and Smith Farms.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Katherine Doody of Oakville, Conn.; and a good neighbor, Delbert Voisine of Westfield. He was predeceased by his wife Rita; and several siblings, Clifton, Vaughn, Fred and Myron Henderson, Pauleen Kreigbler, Ann Treffrey, Gladys Jordan and Helen.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. March 27 at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
