ASHLAND – Theresa (Paradis) Tilley, 75, entered into eternal rest March 28, 2013, at Mercy Home, Eagle Lake. She was born June 12, 1937, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Felix and Hattie (Guimond) Paradis.
She married Irvin Tilley Nov. 7, 1954, at the home of Mable Hawksley in Ashland.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Irvin Tilley Sr. of Ashland; seven sons, Irvin Tilley Jr. and wife, Cheryl, and Tim Tilley and wife, Peggy, all of Vernon, Conn., David Tilley, Gerald Tilley and wife, Vicky, Jeff Tilley and wife, Rita, and Johnny Tilley and wife, Melanie, all of Ashland, and Tony Tilley and wife, Marie, of Port Isabel, Texas; eight brothers, Alva, Gilman, James, Lucien, Felix Jr., Victor, Edgar and Norman Paradis; one sister, Doris Paradis; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Roland and Leo Paradis; and by sister, Renette Cyr.
Relatives and friends may call 1-3 p.m. Saturday, at Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St., Ashland. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home 3 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Donald Morton Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. Those who wish may contribute in her memory to a charity of their choice.
