NORTH WINDHAM, Maine — The U.S. Geological Service’s National Earthquake Information Center is reporting that a minor earthquake occurred Saturday in southern Maine.

The 1.9-magnitude earthquake was detected at 7:28 a.m. Its epicenter was about four miles southwest of North Windham, according to an interactive map on the information center’s website.

Two people — one in Standish and another in Gorham — reported that they felt the tremor, the USGS website shows. No damage was reported.
