NEWPORT, Maine — Multiple police agencies are gathering off Interstate 95 near Newport for K-9 training, Maine State Police dispatch in Augusta said Wednesday.
Portland, Brunswick and Bath police departments, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and Maine State Police are all in the area, and police vehicles are lined up every two miles. Officers and police dogs have been seen coming out of the woods near the interstate.
