VAN BUREN – Dianne D. Madore, 49, died April 7, 2013, at her residence after a long illness, with her loving family by her side. She was born July 9, 1963, in Harford, Conn., the daughter of Leo James and Simonne (Simon) Soucy.
She was a graduate of Sanford High School, received her associates degree in business from Northern Maine Community College and her bachelor’s degree in business systems technology from the University of Maine at Fort Kent, where she was inducted in Who’s Who of College Students. Dianne was a former member of American Legion Auxiliary, Columbiettes of Van Buren and St. Bruno Choir Society. She was a member of American Society of Military Comptrollers.
In addition to her mother of Van Buren; she is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Jimmy “Don” Madore of Van Buren; son, John Paul Madore of La Plata, Md.; daughter, Nichole Martin of Van Buren; stepchildren, Michelle Williams and Jason Rossignol; brother, James Soucy of Sanford; sister, Lisa (Soucy) Taggett of Frenchville; and granddaughter, Isabelle Madore.
Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Church. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday. Committal service and interment will be at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. Those who wish may contribute in her memory to assist the family, in care of Jimmy D.
